A Love Note to Men

To all the men who hold open doors for me, I thank you.
To all the men who offer to help me with a problem, I thank you.
To all the men who smile back at me, I thank you.
To all the men who do the dirty jobs so I don’t have to, I thank you.
To all the men who do the heavy lifting so I don’t have to, I thank you.
To all the men who create wonderful things that make my life better, I thank you.
To all the men who make me food so I don’t have to, I quadruple thank you.
To all the men who see a problem and fix it, with or without being asked, I thank you.
To all the men who teach me anything at all, I thank you.
To all the men who make me laugh, I thank you.
To all the men who walk me to my car, I thank you.
To all the men who truly listen to me when I talk, I thank you.
To all the men who fight for what is right, I thank you.
To all the men who stand and say “not on my watch,” I thank you.
To all the men who have loved me, in any form, I thank you.
To all the men who have shown me love, I thank you.
To all the men who have supported me, I thank you.

*

To all the men who stand up every day and continue working, I see you.
To all the men who are just trying their best, I see you.
To all the men who feel lost, but keep seeking, I see you.

*
To all the men who are hurting and don’t know where to turn, I am here for you.
To all the men who are afraid to ask for help, I am here for you.
To all the men who want to do better, but don’t know how, I’m here for you.

*

To all the men I’ve harmed, in any way, I’m sorry.
To all the men I’ve shamed, I’m sorry.
To all the men I’ve judged unfairly, I’m sorry.
To all the men I’ve said mean things to, I’m sorry.

*

To all the men who have harmed me, in any way at all, I forgive you. I truly forgive you.

*
To all the men who just need to hear these words, from anyone, to move forward in the Light - I forgive you. I thank you. I love you.

We can’t live in a world without men, nor would we want to.
Men are just as vital to human survival and to human joy as women.
Men and women are different, and that is both good and necessary.
It makes no difference what you choose to express as, whatever makes you happy is great, but neither is better and neither is more important than the other.
Masculinity and Femininity are divine energies, they can’t ever be toxic. People can be assholes regardless of gender. Hurt people hurt people, that is all it is.
When we are filled with gratitude, when we come to each other with compassion and empathy, when we truly start to heal ourselves, that is when we heal the world.
As within so without.
Be the example of what you want in the world.
